In 2013, Semeg merged with ADD Sheetmetal to create a formidable partnership in the electrmechanical engineering industry. By incorporating metal works into the transformer and mini-substation endeavours, we have succeeded in offering a full lifecycle service and product offering. The Steel Fabrication Department, is situated in Roodekop (Germiston), this environment plays a variety of roles within our operation:

Steel Fabrication
This manufacturing facility provides cutting, bending, steel fabrication and CNC punching capabilities. This enables Semeg to produce switchboard panels (Siemens etc.), safe units, cash-in-transit boxes and other general light, medium and heavy steel requirements – such as:

Metal Works
| Plate bending (standard or specialised inch pressing – cones, square-to-rounds, radius pressing) | Plate rolling (capable of rolling plate into complete pipes, partial radius rolling, as well as cones) |
| Guillotine cutting (able to cut up to 5pl mild steel over 3m) | General cutting (we offer this service in laser, high-def plasma and flame) |
